FCC Filing Fees Increasing
Effective September 25, 2008, the FCC will implement its new filing fees. All charges are assessed on a per call sign basis. The license term is 10 years. The new filing fees are:
$260.00 total FCC license fee
Modification, assignment & STA applications: $60.00 FCC application fee only
New & renewal applications above 470 MHz:
$460.00 total FCC license fee
Modification, assignment & STA applications: $60.00 FCC application fee only
CMRS & tax exempt licensees = $60.00 FCC application fee only (tax exempt applicants must provide a copy of their IRS 501C letter.)
Governmental Entities are exempt from all FCC fees.
